My husband is 60 and has been on Incapacity Benefit since 2004. He has recently 'passed' a medical. The letter said they would review him again after 16/01/2014. This date also happens to be his 65th birthday, when he will receive his State Pension.

Now my question is, will he be put onto ESA at any point, or will he stay on IB until he gets his State Pension? If he is put onto ESA, will he have to undertake any work-related tasks?

He is Spanish resident at the moment , but will be UK resident next year (2010).
